DESCRIPTION
HMAQ formed in 1995 and now
encompasses gardening media professionals from all over
Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Members
meet monthly to discuss topics of
relevance to the horticultural media profession and to be
informed by a variety of guest speakers representing the
horticultural industry. Regular training is provided at these
sessions to keep members up-to-date with the latest skills and
information and required in our profession.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

mutual contact and communication for members of the

maintaining a high level of integrity within the
horticultural media.

working relationship between members of the
horticultural media and the horticultural industry. |

professional concern.

HOW
TO JOIN HMA (QLD) INC.
Annual
subscription
The annual subscription for membership of HMA
(Qld) Inc. is $40.00. The subscription is subject
to increase or alteration at the discretion of the Executive
Committee and membership.
Membership
Those applying for
membership will need to supply samples and a bibliography of
their horticultural media contributions.
Application forms will be mailed on request. Alternatively.
application forms can be printed out from this site.
Successful applicants will be associate members
for the first year and then their membership status will be
reviewed by the executive committee.

Members are required to attend at least four
meetings in each year (calculated from the AGM). Records of
attendance are available on request and will be circulated at
the February meeting. Attendance requirements
do not apply to supporting members. Members who cannot attend
regular meetings should request a change
of membership classification.
