Australians among the winners at Singapore Garden Festival
Among the winners in Singapore are HMAA’s own Jim Fogarty who picked up Gold for his 'Jervis Bay' display!
Congratulations, Jim!!
Congratulations also to Victoria's Charlie Evans (Urbaneco), who was awarded Silver for 'Message in a Bottle'.
Australia was also well respresented among the judges, with both Teena Crawford and John Patrick invited to be part of theinternational panel.
Winning Silver with Urbaneco was a dream come true for young West Australian horticulture apprentice Daniel Wheat. Daniel won the right to be part of the team in Singapore through the WPC Group-sponsored Ultimate Apprenticeship competition.
Daniel was involved in the selection of plants for the garden after he was invited earlier this year to work with Charlie Evans in preparation for the Singapore competition. He travelled from Perth to be part of the team.
